Monthly Hangar Lunch Is This Saturday, June 28

Our next hangar lunch is this Saturday, June 28 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Fried chicken, potato salad, vegetables, cole slaw and drinks make up the bill of fare this month and as always $5.00 buys all you can eat. Volunteers to help with lunch are always appreciated. If you would like to volunteer please be at the hangar at 10:00 a.m. See you all this weekend.

Special Thanks To Chapter 165 Contributors

Since the March tornado which did so much damage at NLR Airport , Chapter 165 has received several donations to aid in repairing the damage done to the Chapter hangar. Special thanks go to Don Baumgardner for a very generous donation of $1000.00. Don stores his trike in 165’s hangar and after it came through the storm without damage he joked that he was making the contribution as a thank-you offering to the weather gods. We certainly appreciate his generosity.

More special thanks go to Robert Gamache of Gainseville , Florida . After reading about the damage we sustained he also sent a check for $1000.00 to our Chapter President Jerry Homsley. And the Central Arkansas Sport Flyers as well as EAA Chapter 24 out of Oklahoma City made contributions totaling $350.00. Again, we in the Chapter thank them all.
