I grew up in Arkansas, and have lived in several other states/cities... I miss it. I moved there when I was younger, and I found the people friendly, helpful, and not nearly as backwoods and scary as I'd heard! I lived there all through Jr. High, High School, and College (at the U of A - Go Hogs!!) Let me just tell you- I was kayaking, spelunking, camping, boating, water skiing, canoeing, barbequeing, ect all the time. IT WAS AWESOME!! Also, you'll notice my enthusiasm for the Razorbacks... you'll catch it too. I am still amazed at the support and excitement behind our state team! Anyway, I was just as apprehensive as you are, but look how I glow about it now?! Just try to go into it with an open mind and an adventurous spirit! Have fun! Get involved! |
